I am interested in understanding how somatic gonadal cells are specified and assembled into a functional organ during Drosophila development. Through this work, I hope to gain broader insights into the mechanisms that govern organogenesis. Outside the lab, I am always on the lookout for good food and sweet treats, enjoy spending time and yapping with friends and family, and can usually be found binging movies, series, comedy shows, reality TV, K-dramas, basically everything!
